For four generations, the Gaastra family has been involved in bicycles. Their family founded the brands Batavus, Koga Miyata and idworx, each of which shaped the bicycle market in its time and set important new impulses.
Despite their different focuses, they all share one principle that has run through the Gaastra family’s bicycle history for more than 100 years: Every GAASTRA bicycle offers its rider the highest level of quality.
The current generation of the GAASTRA FYTS continues this tradition, combining balanced riding characteristics, low-maintenance technology and sophisticated design.

Gaastra Fyts GT
The new Gaastra GT models 4.14 GT and 4.11 GT are the logical evolution of our proven Gaastra Classic models. They combine their robust and reliable character with a slightly sportier orientation. The robust CrMo frame meets a more dynamic geometry, hydraulic disc brakes and a fork with a 15 mm thru axle. The result is two versatile bicycles that remain comfortable and practical for everyday use, while also offering a more direct and sportier riding experience.
Gaastra Fyts Classic
The Gaastra Classic models 4.08, 4.11 and 4.14 combine a very robust and stiff CrMo frame with balanced geometry, wide tires and the Gaastra Balloonbike comfort concept. Low-maintenance components like the Magura FIRM Tech rim brakes and reliable internal hub gears make them ideal companions for everyday use and relaxed rides.
