idworx oPinion BLT – Ride It All, All the Time
Our slogan says it all: Ride it all, all the time. With the idworx oPinion BLT, adventure has no limits. Designed as the ultimate Adventure Bike, the oPinion BLT is built to explore every corner of the world—on-road, off-road, and everywhere in between.
The idworx oPinion BLT is the result of our vision for the perfect expedition and bikepacking bicycle. Engineered for demanding riders, it combines a robust aluminum frame, proven off-road geometry, durable mountain bike wheels, and the low-maintenance Pinion C1.12 gearbox system to deliver outstanding performance in the toughest conditions.
Whether you're tackling remote gravel roads, technical mountain trails, or long-distance world tours, the oPinion BLT is your reliable partner for challenging cycling adventures. Its specially developed idworx off-road geometry ensures excellent handling, stability, and comfort across all types of terrain—making it one of the best choices for serious adventure cyclists and bikepackers.
The name BLT stands for “Boulders, Logs and Trees,” inspired by the legendary mountain bike trail on Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver, Canada. Gerrit Gaastra rode this iconic trail many times on his mountain bikes long before founding idworx. Remarkably, today’s oPinion BLT is even better suited for this demanding terrain than many of the best mountain bikes of the past.
As more cyclists seek real off-road adventures and expedition-style travel, the idworx oPinion BLT continues to set the standard for premium adventure bikes. Its combination of durability, low maintenance, superior ride quality, and expedition-ready design makes it the ideal bike for discovering the world’s most remote places.
From gravel roads to alpine trails, from bikepacking weekends to round-the-world expeditions—the idworx oPinion BLT is built to ride it all, all the time.

idworx Stress Reducer steering angle limiter
effectively prevents the front wheel from turning over and thus protects against damage to the frame, headlights or even the shift cables and brake hoses, which can occur due an accident or if the bike falls over.
idworx Long Life Chain Rings
The Long Life chain ring we developed at idworx made of hardened stainless steel with an uneven number of teeth together with the extra-hardened idworx KMC E1 ePT chain and the idworx Rohloff steel sprocket, makes for unprecedented longevity. In our oPinion models we even fit our Long Life chain ring back and front. Chain tension requires less frequent checks - a pleasing consequence of a more wear-resistant drive.
